Scoot. (Post Edit with Pictures)

Such a goofy and not in the slightest bit flattering picture, but the funnest day in Kauai was spent scooting around the island.

Did you know there is a three hour time difference between Hawaii and Arizona? Ponder that will you?
I painted my nails red in hopes that maybe it would put a spark in my finger tips that will flow right up my arms and into my head that will shout, "You're not in Hanalei anymore!"
I am constantly finding my head there.
Life at such a slower pace. Warm balmy days.
We could own a scooter rental business and eat shave ice and, and, and,
Oh and I would be out in the middle of no where. I forgot. It would only be fun if the whole family would partner up on that adventure.
It is such a long flight.
Over a big ocean.
I am officially home and don't have plans to return to the islands. Not yet any way. I came home to two kids whom I don't plan on leaving any time soon again. Don't get me wrong they did great and had a phenomenal time, except Sailor now has her towel that she used as an infant for a blankie that she carries EVERYWHERE, and says,"just kidding" about everything. She missed me and I'm glad.
We planted our first family garden last night. It just might be the cutest darn thing I've seen since I got back.
I planted flowers this morning.
My house is on the market.
I want to read all day but I want to clean and plant flowers all day.

There isn't enough hours in the day.
Six can't come soon enough.

My mind is still in Hawaii, so instead of rambling here are my latest reads that I have loved:
The Help by Kathryn Stockett
Shadow Divers by Robert Kursom
Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand
In Cold Blood by Truman Capote
Beyonders by Brandon Mull
Reckless by Cornelia Funke

And here is some more photo documentation of our trip to Kauai

Helicopter tour

More Helicopter (Jurassic Park was filmed here) Do you see the tiny boat?

Couldn't get away from the Crackberry. He was so busy he didn't know he had a flower in his ear.

The Cutest Chapel in Kapaa. These doors opened on the side so during sacrament you open the doors and turn on all the fans.

Helicopter Tour
I squeezed his leg so hard every time the helicopter pitched.
There were a lot of water falls from so much rain.

We rode the scooters to this light house.

The beginning of the Napali Coast Hike

Getting on the helicopter with our life vests around our waists

Sea creature right out front of our hotel

The best burger in Hawaii was at Bubbas. There were at least three that I saw and all of them were packed every time I passed. The best part was this one was parked right next to a shave ice shack. (Don't ask me why they don't call it shaved ice, I was corrected more than once while there)
Kauai is literally so beautiful it looks fake all over the island. I could get used to seeing this view every day.

Cait -
Thanks for the latest reads. All those books look really good. I'm totally going to the Library tomorrow to pick up a few of them!

If you want two that you can read real fast try Sara Evan's books "Sweet by and by" and "Softly & Tenderly". They were pretty good.

Love always - Am
